Enjin - Gachiakuta Fanart

Hey, here is a fan art of one of the character of the manga Gachiakuta by Kei Urana. I love the design of this character. I had a lot of fun working on this project and I hope you like it !
About the process:
I started with a high poly sculpt, then retopologized it, unwrapped it and textured it in substance painter. I handpainted the textures to try and reproduce those of the reference.
I also wanted him without his coat on, I had more freedom to do what I wanted with his arms and the back of his shirt since no references were available (at the time).
It was a really good exercise to try and interpret this character in 3D based on the different angles of him I could find in the manga.
